Location: In the driveway, engine running
Well, we are ready to start. No hotel reservations, no route planned, no idea where we’ll be by dinner — just a full tank of gas, and no idea when or where we’ll make our first stop. Mom only got a few hours of sleep because she was working, doing laundry and trying to learn how to set up a WordPress blog.
We’re excited for the adventures ahead. The plan is simple: there is no plan. If something looks weird, cool, delicious, or just plain worth a closer look, we’re pulling over. Giant roadside attraction? Stopping. Diner with a suspicious number of unique hot dogs? Stopping. Random sign pointing to “World’s Something-est Something”? You already know the answer.
So buckle up (literally, we’re almost moving) and follow along as we figure out where we’re going one exit at a time. If you don’t hear from us for a while, we’re either somewhere with no signal or we found something he refuses to leave.
First stop: unknown, but Zach says that’s the point.
